We had a great time in the countryside, it was so quiet and peaceful. the staff were really friendly and informative. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially the octopus, it was amazing! the rooms and pool were both really nice and clean.
The pool could have been cleaner with algae down one side and no handrail for getting in or out, which was difficult for my elderly parents. There was no minibar or coffee/tea facilities in the room but this wasn't a huge issue.

Closeness to Chateaus
Astronomic price of basic wine i.e 5times the cost of shop price. A trypical french type hotel with basic rooms and facilities. OK for very short stay

The rooms were cozy and modern, with everything I needed, including air conditioning and a private bathroom. The breakfast had a good variety of fresh and tasty items. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful and peaceful countryside that was perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The location is a bit isolated and far from the city center, which meant I had to rent a car to get around, adding an extra cost to my trip. The hotel's facilities could use some maintenance updates, such as the tennis court and pool area that were not in the best condition.

Staff were friendly.
You don't actually stay in the building pictured. The accomodation is a number of small stone terraced chalets 100metres away. The chalets are nothing like the hotel building pictured and are quite basic. There was very little choice for the breakfast.

This accommodation is a convenient option for a one-night stay, with a good location just outside town, only 10 minutes’ drive away. the breakfast buffet provided a great value with a variety of options. the chalet style rooms have air conditioning and are situated near a clean pool on the premises, adding a layer of comfort with basic amenities provided. the friendly staff offered helpful service at the reception desk.
The restaurant was understaffed and not suited to hosting events, with a poorly timed fashion show interrupting guests' meals.
